Gosh I never thought about those age shaming birthday cards. I just bought one for my brother who will be 75 at the end of January! Something about calling out the fire department when they lit the cake! Ugh! Now I'm going to see if I can find something a bit more uplifting! Thanks for sharing
Your post was a tonic for me this morning. I just watched Madea’s Christmas with our family last night, and was so disappointed with how women, especially older women, were the butt of all the jokes.
I have always loved cards for every occasion and started creating my own recently with the help of my husband. I create birthday cards that have inspiration and a positive message. This piece was interesting to me and I love the links attached for these wonderful cards. Thanks, Leanne.
