I like the story and especially the fact that you wrote about it. Paulina Porizkova was the Estée Lauder model when I was a "perfume girl" at Saks in Dallas, TX ---- if you can even believe I did that....enough about me.......we all idolized her. I've followed her in recent years since she got divorced and her ex-husband died. She seems like the real deal and this story echoes what I've seen in her.
l agree that she seems wonderfully real -- and was just named an Estee Lauder ambassador at nearly 60! Though finding out you were a Saks perfume girl in Dallas might be even better. Would NEVER have guessed. :)
Thanks for this post Leanne. I really enjoyed reading it. It made my day. What a lovely story and a strong case for empathy. I agree with all you said. Showing empathy can create opportunities in our lives we never expected and make them richer. I saw a wonderful movie I strongly recommend called The Room Next Door with Juliane Moore and Tilda Swinton. It is about friendship, reviewing life choices, empathy, understanding, and facing death on your own terms. I found it really moving and their acting was incredible.
Thanks, Katy.
Love this Leanne ♥️🙏🏼
