I am not one to buy books at this time in my life, as I am downsizing everything. However, I do enjoy holding a book as you describe. I do use Libby for online books and the library in general for checking out books.
Maybe we could get a little sharing process going for books that we highly recommend ( like this one)and are ready to share with another person, as a loan or even for keeps?
Peggy, what a wonderful idea! I'm game to participate if you can figure out how it would work. I've been trying to share more of my already-read books with the Little Free Library down the street, too.
We could organize a book swap party. A good thing to do on the hot days of summer. Sort of a book club? Everyone brings one of their favorite books to share.
